Turncroft Hall Arts and Crafts was set up and is run by Sharon Shaul and Phil Lingard.

Sharon was born into the world of textiles with her father being a garment manufacturer and expert cutter, her mother a machinist and her first job was selling clothes off a market stall. After taking time out to have a family Sharon spent several years in teaching before deciding to take early retirement in order to devote herself full time to her interest in various fibre crafts. With the setting up of Turncroft Hall Arts and Crafts Sharon now also combines her enthusiasm for fibre crafts with her teaching experience to run courses on the various techniques.

Phil, having graduated with a degree in photography, spent 30 years working in commercial world of visual communications; working at different times as among many things photographer, audio visual visual producer, video director, designer, script writer and producer. Taking early retirement Phil has now returned to his photography roots as can be seen from the fine art photography section and is also indulging his passion for working with wood. He has also been infected by Sharon's enthusiasm for fibre crafts and has taken up hand loom weaving.
